server connection failed
« on: February 17, 2007, 01:46:43 am »
yes i know you see many of these posts, so sorry.

ok i'm getting a fragnetics failed situation.
- i've forwarded the port 7777 for incoming and outgoing on TCP (and then just for the hell of it on UDP even though i doubt planeshift uses UDP) on router and on firewall.
- the server is definetly up at the moment (its update time was right + it had more then zero users).
- i've attempted to run the game whilst my firewall is off but no avail.
so basically, i'm fresh out of ideas.
is there something i forgot (something that's so simple that i'll kick myself for not thinking of it)?

is it possible that the fail was because the server was full?

- ah i just noticed the thing about the latest update + reinstalling.
i'll try that out. hopefully it'll work

success :)
ok... sorry for wasting forum space.
feel free to lock/delete this thread
