Bind question
« on: February 18, 2007, 04:03:12 pm »
Hey I have a question. Not sure if this falls under newbie help but too me it does.

I have two computers at two seperate houses. Both have planeshift but one has about 10 custom hotkey's and binds on it and the other one doesnt. Is it possible for me to transfer the hotkey's on my one computer to my other computer using a flash stick or something?

-thanks :)

yes it is.
the configs for such things are xml files. in the data/config, i think, directory.
just copy those over and you're good to go.

at least i think it is the data/config. i'm at work now so i can't check.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

controls.xml and shortcutcommands.xml are the two files in which key bindings are kept. They can both be found in Planeshift Directory -> data -> options

And Heaven in a wild flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
