Peace in Hydlaa

Since I started playing i've seen many fights on the Plaza and even have done it myself. Hydlaa is suppose to be peaceful and even weapons drawn should be frowned upon. It got me thinking what would stop people fighting there. You could remove PvP from there and no-one could fight but I had a different idea. I'm not sure if it's the best of ideas but i'll throw it out there anyway.

The first idea would be that if i was challenged and accepted then the inventory of both characters would automatically be emptied on the floor but then you'd get people challenging noobs for there stuff so I had a better idea.

If you weer to commit a murder in Hydlaa you would be a known murderer and people would be able to see that you were, if you weer to leave Hydlaa people could attack you instantly without challenge and if they win certain items if not all would be dropped on the floor for all to pick up.

It's still a new idea and needs work but it would add interest to the game and stop fighting were it's not wanted.

thin of ps as a reality, not a game. If you do so, there is a chance you come up with something reasonable. But you will most likely create duplicate topic anyway.

I sure as hell wont allow my items to be taken because I killed someone in the plaza. we have the hydlaa law enforcement and a bunch of prideful professers in some made up society of the intelligent. Join them and prepare to die because volunds here. [:)]

I think giving an Artificial Intelligence and patrol routes to the guards in Hydlaa is a better idea.

For now if one wishes peace, there's something called "Automatic refusal of challenges" and depends on the community as a whole.

I don't know what you're talkin' bout, but I want in!

I don't reckon I like the idea of my stuff getting taken, especially because, well let's face it, killing someone in Hydlaa isn't much of a big deal.  I mean they get transported to the Death Realm and are forced to spend another 5 minutes running through it, only to emerge more or less exactly where they were before.

I do like the idea of NPC guard patrols, though.  It sort of brings to mind images from The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (you know, that game I don't have) where there are guards on horseback constantly prowling the roads and helping you if you're being attacked.

Great call I agree then a fine or jail time could be worked out
