Woot!  First real complaint post\thread in the new section.   :P

Anyways, not really a complaint, more so of an inquery.....

Why was I not told of this?  No discussion in our special forum area before hand.  Thought that was what that section was for?  Just curious.....

* neko kyouran gets out his flame proof armor +35 against trolls and goes to work with the new section.

Edit, guess I'm trying to say is, maybe a little heads up that we were going to do this before it was done would have been nice.

It was a sort of spur of the moment idea spawned in the IRC dev channel, I believe.

I'm going to visit this section when I'm feeling too nice :)

Sure, you care for the players to give them a place to vent, but do you care for your moderator kitty enough to give him a heads up that this was being done? Nooooooooo

Ok, I'll go back to being good now.  And I hope this works out too.  Maybe no more threads from people saying the devs don't listen to the players concerns.

Since when have we ever discussed what forums we add with anyone?  (As an aside, this wasn't a "spur of the moment" thing, but something we have discussed a couple times since the .018 release came out.)

We have reacted to good suggestions if players make them but most we defined ourselves, long before most of the current posters were around. :-)

Exactly!  One would assume that if they are in charge of moderating the forums, they would be included on the decisions made that effects their moderating duties no?  Or at least be told that things were going to happen.  Even if they don't have a say in the matter, it's nice to at least know when to expect changes, especially when it's possible to notify people ahead of time that changes are coming.

Eh, doesn't really matter if anyone told you. It's not like you needed to prepare or anything, and you know now :P Just take it in stride or something.

I think this forum is designed as a kind of air lock, where anything anti-establishment can me moved there and then ignored :P

Seriously though, what moderator is gonna frequent a forum dedicated to pissing off moderators...?
