fall breaking

I had an idea that maybe t would be a good idea to have a fall breaking skill? The higher it is, the ess damage you get when you fall (of course, you'll DEFINATLY die after as fall of 50 metres, unless you're a kylos and you glide your way down) Enkidukais would have a racial bonus in this skill, since cats alway land on their feet.

I think it should just be an inherent effect of agility or something like that...

Or maybe a skill that effects both jump-height and fall-damage...

Something like the "climbing skill (tm)" that lets you climb steep cliffs without falling perhaps?

Already exists and is even present in the in-game skill list.

How exactly does a "fall-breaking skill" work?

Kind of like how acrobatics works in the Edlar Scrolls.
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

hmm that skill is also heavily linked to agility and is called acrobatics witch dosent just breake your fall but allows you to jump higher and some other abilities i fail to see how that would add to ps. especialy seing as how we will eventualy be able to train end higher and train body deveolpment giveing us yet more hp.

What about jump height? I find it odd that dwarves can jump just as high as enkis and such. It seems like one should have a higher jumping skill than the other...

And having an uber-high jump skill and being able to jump onto houses would be so cool...

Yeah, it would be cool. How it works is the damage you get when you fall at the hight, minus your fall breaking bonus, so that way, if you're trained to and on your feet, theres less chance of dying. As for jumping, I think a good idea is if you jump down 3 metres, there will be no penalty, but the health loss begins after 3 metres, though like I said, enkis have a bonus in fall breaking (I think they would) and maybe there can also be a jumping skill, the higher it is, the higher you can jump? (it couldn't go up too high though.)

Personally I see another skill for you to train as unnecessary, especially when we have Agility, Body Development, and Climbing.

I agree with emerald, but for sure I would love to see something done about 2 foot high death falls

I think that should be an extension of agility. like a isde effect. The higher your agility the  more chance you have to land "correctly".

What will be Klyros gliding capabilities based on then once they are implemented?

Isn't it too early for anyone to answer that definitively? My guesses are Agility, Strength, and Endurance.

You guess correctly. I have thought about having a flight skill, but there's no real need. It would be a bit like people having a walk skill and a run skill really, as 'flight' (gliding really) comes naturally to Klyros.

I think it's safe to consider those to be bugs. Fall damage is being worked on heavily in the last week so there are quite a few bugs in it now.
