Hi im having a problem getting into the game.... i have made my guy and everthing, then i click on Join to start playing.. it will come up with "loading" then it will switch and say "Server ........ is denied to all unwilling to abide to the gonvernment"... can somebody please help me out.. i dont know why i cant play???

You are reading the Server MOTD this applies to certain people trying to get into a certain area. If you dont know what it is talking about then you most likely dont need to worry about it.

but when it comes up it makes my game exit out... no matter how many times i try.. it quits the game

Ohh, I get it. I thought this was a seriously screwed up computer problem.

Somehow you got your character to spawn in the winch area when you didn't do the quest. I think that might be what happened.

Is that the name of the character having the problem?  Do other characters you have log into the game without issues, or does this effect multiple charcters?  If it's the latter, its not anything with the characters and probably something screwed up with your install.  Did you run the updater after you installed?  You weren't supposed to.  If you did, you're going to need to uninstall and remove all left behind folders, and reinstall and then not run the updater.

Also, a GM is probably going to ask you about that character's name as if you'll take a look here: http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=21538.0

I don't think a newly created character can just "spawn" into the Winch :] It's most likely one of our many other crashes.

Character "Blackedge" has been repositioned. Please create a petition for a different character name once you are online. (/petition I'd like a new character name, _________.)

Is it a nickname, or a name your character's parents gave him/her upon birth?
