Basically you can take a 1.5V AGP card in that slot as it has a 1.5V slot.

Most AGP cards nowadays can do both 3.3 and 1.5 anyway.

i want 2nd one cos its cheaper but is there a reason for it being cheaper?

EDIT: oh i get it now (correct me if im rong) but since mine is a 1.5V i can take the 0.8V ones too? pretty much anythin below 1.5V i can take therefore i can take a 8X card which is the 2nd one

What you need is the rest of the text that went along with the Phoenix Bios revision number.
Check out this page for more information. I cannot vouch for it personally as I just did a quick search but it links to a couple tools that may be helpful.

If you've got what you need then ignore this, if not it might be useful.

http://www.playtool.com/pages/agpcompat/agp.html that goes into far more technical detail, but basically  if your motherboard is new enough to take the later AGP cards it can run 8x else if it will run at 4x.

That date is likely the bios creation date, I'm still looking for more. Was there anything else on the screen before it starts into windows?

Ok it says under the AGP slot thing in the manual

The AGP slot is for the exclusive use of high speed APG video display cards. This AGP slot supports AGP4X cards this slot only supports 1.5V devices. do not use a 3.3V with this motherboard

so does this mean i can use 8X aswell? because something said it was backwards compatible and apparently 8X cards are 0.8V and this is 1.5V drive

according to this page Compatibility
Quote
Another excellent feature of moving to AGP 8X is it's inherent backwards compatibility with both AGP 4X and AGP 2X. Currently, all video card manufacturers with an AGP 8X based card are keeping their hardware compatible with AGP 2X and 4X specs. Consequently, if your using an 8X capable card, it will typically utilize the highest available speed supported by your system. Good news for those of you who wish to keep their current systems, but want to take advantage of the latest video technology. You may not completely benefit from these capabilities with an older system, but a performance increase will be garnished nevertheless, and when you do upgrade your system, you'll be ready to go.

However this page say is is not quite that simple. Maybe yes, maybe no.

This page from the nvidia website would seem to indicate that it can. Of course you will have to decide for yourself. I'm thinking you might be able to get a much better card say a 6600 series new for less than twice that price but I have no real idea what the market is like on the other side of the world. I can buy here a 6200 for $70. so you might want to look around a bit before you buy used.
