crafts questions

greetings to all.
I have been 2 weeks in the game and have questions: it is possible to mix zinc with other materials like for example iron, gold. and being possible, I need some skill?
how i can make weapons with more power? or wath I must train to do them?
 I have made different mixtures and I have not been able and I have asked in the game and nobody which could respond to me.

Is it possible? I didnt think so. If it has been made possible then you will need a certain level of skill to be able to do it.

You must increase the quality of the materials you are using to make the finished weapon.

Yeah, currently training up skills doesn't really effect the crafted weapons all that much. You can make perfect 300/300 stuff with 1 in Blacksmithing and <Weapon>-making.

This should have been corrected a lot by the recent round of changes by TomT.  Skills should affect crafting much more now.
