Weird screen: No words

When I open the PSclient the screen loads, and then the screen looks like this:

I dont understand why I cant see any word characters...

Looks to me like you don't have the font support you need but that is just a guess.

to tell you the truth, I dont really know if I have a bad video card or not; I'm not really too familiar with computers ???

If you're running windows xp go to start > run > then put in dxdiag and click ok. The go to to the option display on the top and the specs of your video card will appear. List the name, manufacturer and memory. From what I remember.

Approx. Total Memory: 32.0MB

That's a problem, unfortunately. First 64MB is the minimum you should have on a card, and second, S3 Savage cards are notoriously bad with OpenGL applications - and therefore not compatible with PlaneShift. You'll have to find an upgrade! :{

no sorry... you need to eather know your system OR take the computer to a computer store and ask them what card it can use, tho i have a feeling you'll need a AGP graphics card but don't quote me on that  :whistling:

Oddly enough, I can run PS on this one, it's just very laggy...
