Mutual death

This is a bit of an odd wish, and I don't know of a way to impliment it.  It just occurred to me and it seems like a good idea.  Then again, all of my ideas are good!

There should be times when a fight ends in both parties dying.  This should be especially true if both parties are well trained but near equal.  If you have two fighters who aren't very skilled, they might be a danger to themselves (hey, there's another wish list item!), but the outcome of the battle could be decided through luck and it could have a clear winner.  When you have two fighters who are very advanced though or very powerful, and they're near equal in skill, there should be a chance that no one wins and everyone dies.

Think of that famous photo of a constrictor versus a crocodile.  Both died, but the snake half-swallowed the crocodile and then the croc killed the snake from the inside.

In human terms, think Sherlock Holmes versus Moriarty.  (Yes, Holmes was later brought back to life, but that only happened because of a massive lettering campaign - the intention was for Holmes to die and really be dead.)

So what do you say?  Good idea, or great idea?

Ehh somehow I don't see this as happening quickly. The only thing that could perhaps happen occasionally is that one side dies in the duel and the other dies hours or days later from their wounds. This would implement some coding for longlasting wounds and unless adequate treatment is recieved your character could die from it or even become handicapped for the rest of their existence.

A double KO/fatality in the literal meaning has a very very limited chance in my opinion.

I like the idea of the chance of both players killing each other. An epic battle finishes with both player stabbing each other  hehe.
I also like Zan's idea of long lasting wounds.

Also maybe you could learn a skill which is focused on will power. It kives you a "death throw" in which your player takes one last swing at their killer before dying, hopefully if your oppionent is caught off guard and wounded enough you'd kill them.  Would pretty rare you'd manage to do this though, your lack of strength and  aim etc would  mean that  your swings or stabs would be eratic and not fully controlled. You;d be giving a desperate thrust in the direction of your attacker before dying.
