updater issues

The updater doesn't work for me. When I try to run in a xterm, I get this:

I was browsing that mirrors, and I can't find that file version.dat. What should do?

if you cant play because you have the wrong version download the right one 0.3.018 and enjoy and again dont run the updater

The game doesn't require you to update, it just suggests you to do so. If you have the proper version installed, it should work without any problems. If it doesn't, the problem is somewhere else.

PS This is not a generic suggestion to stop updating when the game suggests to run the updater. Just right now the suggestion should be ignored until we have updated our updater mirrors.

Sorry but...what is the "right version" of 0.3.018 ? Because I can't play too. Where can I download it?

There is only one official version of 0.3.018 unless you compile from cvs
