Unused textures and models included in client

The size of PS is not big at all but ...
   ... I spent some times extracting zips in art folder and noticed that many of things there (mainly textures) are not putted yet into PS. So why are they there??? Even there are few statue like inventory symbols but Bearded Lorytia Likeness looks like a healing potion. So PLEASE remove unused textures form the next release or START USING THEM. Actually some monsters (ulbers from warer location should have "normal texure, ones from colder location should have one  of the furry ones) and weapon (due to crafter's choice) variations should be interesting. I am looking forward galkards

Just out of curiousity, did you check how much space these un-needed files take up when zipped?

Keep in mind that you wouldnt have seen the things you have if they werent packaged. I like to think of it as teasers for those who have the desire to take PS apart and see what it will offer

All of these textures will be ingame very soon if they are not already just give the devs time some need more work done or better textures added. In the comming weeks you might see more icons show up correctly in your inventory you just need patience.

Well we can't put things ingame before the art is there... so obviously we need to include the textures and models first..

Thanks for fast reply everyone. I was not complaining about the size. I was just a little shocked when i saw the some things done but not not putted ingame. And there is nothing in rules about unpacking artwork. Is it forbidden???

It's not forbidden - I used to do it all the time :]

Everything will be used in the near future. We have a lot more art that isn't packaged yet either, so adding all these things in will take a while.

From what I have seen members of my guild achieve it seems a great way to start on your path to becomming a Dev and actually creating things that people want in the game
