Cyo ?yriden
« on: March 09, 2003, 06:38:28 am »
The fights went on, tearing apart the village like a raging storm. The young elf stood there in the cold wind, its invisible hands feeling at him, hitting him like blades of ice. His clothes torn and ravaged from the raids led onto his home, tired and bloody, yet still determined. His sword, the Eltricit glimmered with a fire that burned bright within Cyo\'s heart. He swore vengeance against these cloaked figures which destroyed his home, his family and his friends. He trudged along through the mud, ignoring the dead bodies that lay on the ground along the way, he could not bare to see the faces. Ahead in the misty distance he saw two figures. He limped forward, going into a small jog, hoping for them to be someone he knew. Someone else besides him, to not be isolated completely in this small village, to fall to the hands of these creatures, to fall like the others, and to die horribly alone. Not being able to wait, Cyo broke into a full run, mud spraying every where, he could hear the crackling as his ankle finally gave out. He fell and fought it as darkness succumbed over him.

He awoke to the sound of a fire, his body refused to move, a pain shot through his leg, his hands tingled. Two figures moved silenty across the room, tall slender figures, too tall to be elven, not bulky enough to be kran? Cyo tried to speak, his mouth would not move, a few mumbles came out and the two figures turned quickly around and rushed towards him....

I\'ll write more if you want, and ?yriden is pronounced (Air-ridden) if your wondering :P .
I am trying to make my writing style less tell, and more show.  Bleh I can\'t explain it.

So, are you going to continue this story, or do you want other people to jump in?
You are here,
You will always be here,
You will never be there.
Although you may strive to get there,
upon reaching there you will realize you are really here.
And there is everywhere else.
