Bored? Why not create a guild.....

That is one of the tips that the game throws at you when you log in. Now, Is that what we want to encourage? people who get bored of the game, creating guilds with groups of other bored people?

I have seen so many times people being berrated for having 'no good reason' for creating their guild. Maybe they should just say 'Because I was bored' because that seems like a perfectly valid reason according to the in game tips.

Your views please?

I created an [Organization] because I was bored to death with killing mobs and mining

I always thought the the little tips were rather silly. One tells you to go have a drink at Kada's if you are bored....yet, you can not -get- anything to drink at Kada's.

"Bored? Then this is not the game for you. Have fun in your quest to find the perfect game."

Bored, and sick of all the drama? Don't start a guild, make an alt and join the SHEEPLES, and run for your life!"

Other thing, some of these messages have typos as well.

 A better message would be:

"Do you want to make Planeshift a more dynamic and interesting universe? Create your own unique guild, respecting the roleplay guidelines and have fun!"

The biggest reason is that guilds presently require 200,000 trias and five players to start.  So to start a guild, you have to be a player who spends a considerable amount of time mining gold.

Oh.  I read somewhere that it was 200,000.  If it's still 20,000, that's good.

I don't recall ever saying something nasty to Talad or about Talad nor do I recall ever being cross with him.

I believe it was changed to 200k for a while, and then back.
