EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 69728280

So I ran a seach for "69728280" and found nothing.  I apologize if this is a duplicate question.

I went into the Bronze Door Region (forget if I was auto running or auto walking).  When it tried to load the area my client (aka node/computer) crashed.

I tried to load up again and it crashed with the message in the subject.

I have tried to open the game on another computer and the same message/problem was given.

I tried to update, but the updater is not functional at this point.  (Read in another post that it is not needed at this time).

Any help would be wonderful.

which os are you running?

but it may require a char move.

Updating is not only functional, it is highly discouraged - as it can sometimes revert to an older install.

Have you tried this map? If you have and it's still crashing on you, we'll have to move your character out of the region (provide a name) and ask you to avoid it until this is fixed.. :}

turn on vertex buffer objects in setup, worked for me when i first got this problem, still does

It was a video card prob.  I got on an eMachine and was able to get out of the area.

Though I need to change my settings on this computer for the particle probs.  Thanks guys
