The Golden Coin

Greetings, My name is Kellod Mesecki. I'm a merchant for my guild "The Enlightened" and when i'm not auctioning my items I am out collecting them to be auctioned. Being a merchant is all I know and I am proud to say I am good at it.

Okay well that's my introduction out the way, now onto business!!!

I'm proud to announce there will be a mass auction event held in the Bronze Door Fortress area. This event will take place on Saturday the 24th and auctioning will commence at 19:30 GMT.

There are already many items entered to this auction and we still seek people willing to enter there items. The more items we receive the better we can promise the auction to be. As with all auctions though there are a few rules and they are as follows.

1: All items must be entered to auction before the given date.
2: 20% will be taken from the sale of your item to pay the auctioneers.
3: You may enter an infinite number of items if you wish.
4: We accept any item.
5: 80% of the tria from your item will be returned to you.
6: If your item is not sold you get the choice of it's return or can enter it to the next auction.

Your auctioneers for the evening will be Kellod Mesecki and Donari Tyndale and any items you wish to enter to auction must be given to either auctioneer.

Note: We also seek guards to ensure safety of all items.

Question for Game Masters:

Could a GM maybe shed some light on auction rules? I found a thread from last July when players were muted for bidding in the auction channel. Does this rule still stand? If so we will make people aware before it starts that bids must be done in main.

Nope, it was a pre-arranged auction run by Proglin (I believe). I think the cause of the muting was that players were making their bids in the auction channel (which to me sounds an appropriate place to do it).

I think id stopped reading that thread by that point which also meant that I missed this little gem from Venge:

But anyway, back on topic, are weapons currently selling for decent prices? If so I might have access to a bunch of weapons you can sell and other rareties you can sell.

Will there be any schedule as to certain types of items auctioned in a certain sequence?

For example, are all the swords auctioned before you move on to axes?

The highlight of the auction are the two longswords of Socia Areramau! They will be the last items on the auction list, they only go as a pair.

The longsword are the ones Socia Areramau carried. Else there's nothing special about them, just their IC value.

Any crafters out there want to enter any daggers/short swords/longswords? With the recent changes they are one of the most powerful weapons and will sell for a very reasonable price, especially longswords, I imagine.

And for those who asked why we are holding it at the fortress. It's mainly so we don't have any OOC interruptions, Hydlaa's a perfect place to auction but rather noisy.  :P

The auction will start as planned. Be prepared for a long one, and bring loads of money with you. We have so much, you'll receive some good deals.

The auction will start at 19.30pm as planned and we can promise a whole range of items at the auction and one or two rare items that aren't easy to come by.

[Hopefully i'll be there my comp is having major troubles so i'm on a laptop with an nvidia card. *crosses his fingers and hopes he won't crash at BD*]
