Scrolling
« on: March 16, 2007, 10:09:58 am »
When using the forum I use mouse wheel to scroll down pages. I've been on the forum most of the day and had no problems but now when I scroll instead of going up and down the pages it changes the sizes of all the fonts on that page. Scrolling down they get smalller and scrolling up they go to large print. Is this just me experiencing this?

It's not due to the forum itself, but likely something you pressed - I know that holding the CTRL key while scrolling does the font change. Are any keys pressed down or locked? Does the problem persist when you reboot your machine?

Starting to think you may need a new keyboard mate ;)

A reboot solved it, I tried re-entering the forum first and it was the same but a reboot has corrected it. Must of just been something I pressed and couldn't undo.  :)

@Idoru Yes I do, my keys are practically stuck together.  ;D

Take it apart and use nailpolish remover to clean it, then buy a graphite lubricant to spray it, and you will have a new keyboard ;)
I had one for so long the letters and numbers were all gone :D

Easiest way to clean a simple keyboard (without wireless, or LCD) is to stick it in your dishwasher. set the temperature as low as you can and turn off the 'auto-dry' feature. when its finished put it in your airing cupboard (not sure of the non-english name) key-side down for 24 hours and it should be good as new....... or broken.

Just run paint brush between the keys. Youll be amazed and disgusted.
