Guess the picture

Try and guess what the picture is supposed to be, when someone is right i'll post the name and give 'em a flower 
This is just a litle thread where i'll post unusual pictures from everyday life and then people can try and guess what it really is.

Edited the picture a litle for lighting as it was kinda dark so... let the guessing begin.

At it's full resolution I can't tell...  It could be stars photographed with a lens that has a high amount of aberration.

Or it could be a bubble tipped anemone - somehow I doubt that though...

I doubt it's stars.. it looks like there are two fingers in the top-left corner holding something way to close to an out-of-focus camera.

But I'm prolly totally wrong

Almost like it's a reflection of two fingers holding perhaps the camera up close to a window with rain on it.

(EDIT: Drey beat me to that... but still I think it may be wrong.)

But that's not a defined 'thing' really, so it's gotta be something else.

I think it looks like some mineral under a very high zoom

I was guessing the two "reddish" areas where from neighboring clusters.  But now that you say out of focus fingers and rain on glass....  I'm liking it.  It is also weird that the two yellow "lights" are in focus (or at least better focus) then the surrounding lights.  

So it could be a picture of an on coming car (or two light poles in the backyard) through a rain soaked window.

Looks like ice pellets on a gravel walk to me or a mushroom forest.

I'd say it's taken from the back of a car on a rainy night. What you're looking at is the back window of the car. It was taken with the flash on so that the drops on the window shine white. In the background I believe I see the headlights of another car, in the upper left corner are the back lights of a car going in the opposite direction.

I dont think it is water because the dots overlap which water tends not to do cos it merges (probably wrong, and it will be water now). Also I liked the idea of head lights expect they are abit wonky to be headlights thought it could be on a corner. I dont actualy have an idea of what it could be. Everything i think of i can think of a reason why it isnt, which is getting in the way alot.

I keep looking at it over and over (my employer's money hard at work  ).  I still think it is out of focus, but the overall image looks to have a shape to it and not water effects on a sheet of glass.  I'm still mystified by the yellowish lights - could they be reflections from the flash?  Seems to me that a flash is more blueish white.

If you darken the pic, it looks like stars again.

I will have to agree with the first guess, it is snow.

Being in northern ontario, under the influence of anti- freeze, I have taken a few to many of these pictures

Looks like carpeting to me . That is if you take a really dark pic with a digital camera and lighten it up.

Wow!!!  I never thought of that before.  It DOES look like carpetting after 2 six-packs of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and you wake up on the floor.
