OK, here's one for you...



This is a real, physical object.  The yellow is from a filter.

There is nothing "wet" in the picture; however, it was formed from "wet processing".

I'll check back often to give hints as needed.

Yes, taken with a microscope - but not submicron.  The large squares are on the order of 250 microns.

For your other guess - nothing organic in the picture.
