crashing after character select.

can someone please help me out, as soon as i log in with my character Goulde, it quits with an unexpected error...  :@#\
i am able to log in with new characters though, but i would like to revive old Goulde.

Might be you will need to have your character moved, try contacting a gm in-game with an alt.

Or he has to clear out his char's description text.  Reduce your font to 50% in the PSSetup, and then try again.  If that fixes it, then it's probably your description, and you should edit that.

ok, well it's happening again... this time outside BD and the font size changing thing aint working this time... any more help offered?

edit: oh, and now it is saying server failed.  :thumbdown: ???

This time you might want to fiddle with the vertex buffer in the planeshift setup app as per the second of nekos links

still saying server failed,  so the vortex thingo isn't working
also, the updater is unable to find mirrors, althought my client is up to date.

Updater won't find any mirrors, ever. At least not until they set it up (currently, it's not)

Very first post.  The server does crash from time to time.  Perhaps that could be the case.

ya it is flaky at this end too so it is probably a temporary server problem

i just got in for like 5 mins... was really laggy... then got unexpectedly quit again.
wtf is going on, nothing like this used to happen when i used to play  :@#\ :thumbdown:

It may be your vid card drivers. Have you updated them recently?
