PS Freezes in Vista as soon as I am in game

I'll go ahead and give my system specs.

Windows Vista Home Premium
P4 3.oGHz Extreme w/ Hyperthreading
1GB DDR400 RAM
ATI Radeon X1600Pro 512MB

That should be all that is relevant.

The issue...

I have ran the updater, but it cannot locate any mirrors.
I downloaded the latest driver from ATI today

As soon as I run the psclient.exe, I am able to log into the server and select my character. After selecting the character, the game loads as usual. However I am unable to do anything. No mouse controls (the cursor moves around the screen just fine), no keyboard controls, and I DO get music. Occasionally, I will see a chat or two scroll through the console. So, I do the ol' fashioned Ctrl+Alt+Delete and psclient is Not Responding.

PS works just fine on my iBook G4 with a PowerPC 1.3GHz, 512MB RAM, and 32MB ATI. However, it runs in 800x600 and the Vista PC will be able to run the game in 1024x768, so you can see why I want to play PS on the PC. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

I have enabled vertex buffering in the setup, I have tried different resolutions, but PS still locks up as soon as I enter the game.

Paste this in your run box and paste what it outputs in the command prompt box when your client freezes.

"C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe" -console

I get A LOT of ***Input Buffer Full! Dropping Packet of Type MSGTYPE_DEAD_RECKONING! This maessage seems to infinitely appear. Before, something else appeared, but it moved so fast that I couldn't see what it was. Also, I cannot copy from the console.

adding a ' > [textfile name]'  (no quotes) to the end of that cmd line, will redirect the output from the console to a textfile on your harddrive, which you can then copy paste the info from the file.

I ran PS with the following command:

The original file was too long to post (over 135,000 characters), so I shortened it. It pretty much looked like the same things over and over again.
