this is just a wild guess, but, you COULD try hitting ctrl+alt+del, then going to the processes, or if it already lists them, end explorer.exe while the game is at main screen? i do that when playing battlefield 1942 cause explorer takes up 50 to 90% of memory for some wild reason, leaving me game in lag world! of course i have winxp w/ top pc enough ram+memory to play it great, but it only works when explorer it closed. this is just a wild guess and you cant accuse me for direct indirect or any kind of direct damage done to your pc/ by doing this you agree to these terms. :D im a lil paranoid

If you end explorer.exe, you\'ll actually end the graphics user interface of windows. That will free up lots of memory allright, but just make sure you\'re not working on any unsaved work at the moment.  ;)
