my reflex would be to check the ati website...
but when you connect the monitor to the new card do you see anything?
and you know what drop the disk in anyways.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

I can barely understand a single word you are saying. I have just gotten an ATI card and I might be able to help you if you use a few periods here and there. Try to edit it or something and Ill do all I can to help you.

You need to read your motherboard manual. This card may not be suported.

But, make sure you go into the bios settings to disable the onboard graphics, sometimes it is not only a software switch, but a jumper somewhere. Without knowing your MoBo make and model, I cant suggest anything too helpful.

when you start the computer it will say press F1\F2\Delete\F10\F12\Escape (whatever) to enter setup. Thats how you enter the BIOS, if it doesn;lt say, keep pressing one of those keys until it works.

If that doesn't work, I have a tip for you.

When I put mine in, the directions were very confusing. There was one part where i had to go into Display on Control Panel, go to Settings tab, and right click on the screen of the video card. Then select properties and change some stuff around to make sure my computer accepted it or something (i really dont know why i just did it). It took me 2 days to figure out what I had skipped in the directions and that was it. It also said it was optional so maybe you dont need it.

But, if nothing else works, give that a shot.
