acces violation when fireing arrows

ok every time i fire an arrow at a craker in theplace with all the gladeators (sorry i dont know the name) i get a message come up saying acses violation  and then the game closes.
and when i log back in im in the death realm...

im not sure why its happening, just magic arrows make the game crash against craklings

I guess the place you're referring to is the Arena.

You say it only crashes when you launch arrows against clackers?
That would be odd.

There's some issues going on with effects in game. They're normally solved if you turn on "Vertex Buffer Object" on PSSetup utility (available through start-all programs-planeshift)

As for you appearing in the DR when relogging, it's because even if your client crashed, the battle you were in continued, and your char was defeated, thus sent to the DR.

When you're engaged in a battle, and disconnect (or suffer a disconnection/crash) the system keeps the battle going until the end of it.

It's the same message as before?

Normally those access violation messages come with a number attached.
That number should be of use to you to try to perform a search in this forums with it, and hopefully find a solution.

If the number is not to be found anywhere, select yes to save the dump file, and send it to AryHann, following her instructions here:

You can also post the number here, and maybe someone gives you a valid hint.

The other usual crash source is due to text in description window.
Its workaround is to reduce fontsize through PSsetup, log back in, restore the changes, log out, restore font size, and rejoin again.
