Give this a try:

Open up the file [PS Directory]/data/config/r3dopengl.cfg in a text editor, and find this line:
Video.OpenGL.FontCache.UseMultiTexturing = yes

Change yes to no and see if there is any change. I don't think you posted what model of video card you have, so if changing that line doesn't work be sure to include your card model in your next post :]

omg thx that has help alot u have saved me from spending £100 on a grphics card.

oh by the way i don't know its in the motherboard but don't matter now

I have quite tha same problem.
All the texts are unreadable.
I tried to fix it with
Video.OpenGL.FontCache.UseMultiTexturing = no
with no results :(

I'm running on Ubuntu Feisty with an ATI Radeon 9250 that worked perfectly on Edgy.

What should I do? (I have a 56kbps connection  :()

Gigasoft, I suggest you read through the Linux section of the forum to see if there is an OS-specific fix for you. If you can't find anything relevant to your problem, feel free to make a new post in there. You'll reach a more concentrated audience :]

Gigasoft,

well this is such a blind guessing but... maybe it helps you somehow, so I'll post anyway.  :-[

With the new Ubuntu, a new kernel is used.
You should really try checking if now your system is using the same drivers as before, for your card.
In other words, it might very well be that when you had Edgy installed, you then went to Ati website and got their linux drivers (cause... they do have drivers for linux, right?  ???) and now that you upgraded, since most likely the kernel doesn't have the ati drivers, it took the ones it has there.

So, my suggestion would be, try to reinstall the linux ati drivers.
If linux Ati drivers exist, and work correctly, that is... my point is that you should redo the same steps you did back in Edgy, to have again those drivers for your card. Just, I don't think that Edgy Ati generic drivers were that good, and now with Feisty they're that bad.

Seems that depending on the driver you're using, 9200 support was dropped.

I take that if you used the linked driver, you might be able to launch the game again. Seems your graphic card is no longer supported on later versions of the driver.

Uhm.. I use the Open Source drivers included in ubuntu.

I've got the same problem on the PC of a friend  :'(
