after seeing crystal way is paladin-like but more magey, i realised something..I MUST BE cuz i wasnt in WoW or DDO and nows my chance.

i did look in the faq anf guide, found nothing on what it means to purify a glyph, i know i ask alot of questions but ya, bear with me if you would.  also, the server keeps closing on me and im gunna smash it.

Smashing is the dev team's very last resort. Leave it to the pro's, man The server is down for a reason unknown to me at the moment, but give it time to return. Stability isn't guaranteed at this stage of development, and restarts may be necessary every now and then.

Glyphs are the base of every spell, and there is a strong magic link between a mage and his glyphs. That requires a process of purification when the mage gains a new glyph, that may take some time (hours or 1 day). After that purification process, the link is established and the glyph can be used for casting.

This information can be found in the Magic section of the Player Guide, under 2.9.3. Purification, along with:

To purify a glyph, open the Glyph window from your Spell Book. Pick up the glyph to be purified and drop it on the Purify Glyph icon. You will see a message in your Chat Window indicating that purification has begun.

I'm not sure when I readed the way it was written... but I think that perhaps this account is another user-made joke on the same lines of @Power_Beast
