Parks for strolling in

I think it would be really nice to have a park with a nice wide path that doesn't turn much or at least too suddenly. This would allow people to auto-walk and chat without worrying about running into things or falling off a ledge and dying. This would also be an excuse to not run everywhere. There would be a place where it is understood that you mostly stroll around and talk. It could also double as a nice picnic/meeting place where friends could meet and enjoy each others company (without a lot of noisy drunks around  ) Not to mention it could have pretty flowers that could be quickly gathered for surprise dates  . It would be a really good chance to create a romantic spot for people, with little places tucked off the beaten path, so they don't have to head out the the BD for it.

Actually I love this idea.  Not only would it be beautiful, but it would provide some exciting RP opportunities and add more to the immersive feel of the game.

Think big man! I was thinking about a preserve, or about something as large as Battery Park. It does not matter when it's coming if it will come, as long as I am still alive and running once it comes of course...

Thats because other than the gazebo the area is flat dull and uninteresting.  Just a tree and boring flat sort of oddly desaturated grass textures and not much to look at.  I think this idea would be for something larger anyways.

The park.... A pretty place in the day time where couples gather and stretch out on the grass, find small area's to crawl off too and generally relaxation for all. The idea was for this to be a tranquil place all the time...


However when dusk falls and the shadows take over the local thieves find this a useful landscape to rob innocdent bystanders, rival gangs use the plains as a war ground, the coules dozing together in their hidey holes wake up with a knife in their throats because they are too close to a cutthroats stash, a murderers bone pile, or are simply easy pickings for a young lowlife in the making.

As beautiful as it is in the day.... how do you think the flowers take on such a full red hue?

Except if:

Solution: Just have some guards stationed on the park at night, that solves all.

A decent park should have:

Monuments, benches, hippies(oops, wrong place man), some wandering mechants selling food(and catnip too ), lots of space for running, lots of flora, among other things.

It would also need some kind of body of water like a lake, maybe even a fountain.    But cute animals would really cinch it.
