Finally, there should be a big honkin' sandbox for the youngsters, and maybe some treehouses (with ziplines between them?)

That's a great idea! It would give the kids in Yliakum somewhere to go besides the tavern or Harn's and something to do besides kill and train. If there's a sandbox there should always be sand castles. Building sand castles could be neat and it could use the intelligence skill, afterall you gotta be smart to find the right water/sand ratio.  :D Not to mention there would be more than a few big "kids" who would love to make sand castles.  :whistling:

It might be good to note that exactly such a garden area is already mentioned in-game.
Information that's been there a while, I think. Although perhaps not very easy to find.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

There are several "gardens" but they aren't what the thread starter had in mind.  Imagine something more scenic and winding.

I wasn't talking about the gardens that are ingame now. There a lot of information you can find ingame, about area's that are yet to come.

What makes a park? Simple...cute tables and little ponds...bird bathes and benches...gradens and flowers...Different assortment of trees. How about a stand with a npc where you could buy things...jewlery, flowers ect. Wooden swing sets. Small fountains...rock paths, fences, sandy areas, gazeboes...not behind laanx hidden away from the world. Of corse these are just a few suggestions... ;D I think a park or two would be a wonderful addition! And more then a great chance to roleplay and have an area to hold rping events!!

The parks I like have plants and trees and paths, but no tables or vendors or artifical ponds.  That's just me though.

If it was enough we wouldn't be discussing this at length. Obviously these plans are bigger than a lone Gazebo.  ::)
