Listen... Eccutas is that name with my permission... And everyone saying Alexanddra is insulting me by spoofing my name... Im going to tell you now, it's become quite annoying... I had to wrestle around with a GM to get her name changed back... So No more this is becoming an annoyance... Alex has Eccu with my permission... Anyone reported to be saying she is insulting me by using my name after this post... their words will be considered the insult... There all of the PS community knows Alexanddra is under MY explicaite permission to use a spoof from my name... It is due to an RP we have And if alex wishes to divulge that information as to what RP I refure to then that is up to her. No more

I'd rather not go into this discussion on the forums, Idoru. The situation has been cleared up between GMs and those involved and we don't really need to revisit it. However I will say that if it looks like a player is mock-using another player's name for whatever reason, GMs will generally investigate to make sure that there's no harassment going on.

Why would a GM have changed the name iin the 1st place???

Because it looks very suspicious, and there's a history of people harassing others by creating characters with similar names then acting inappropriately.  For example, someone made a character named Zanzibar and then started saying things of a questionable nature to people.  A GM changed the character's name to Zanze Ybar or something, then banned the name Zanzibar.  Someone (perhaps the same person, perhaps not) then made a character named Shalmeneser and insulted a whole bunch of people and even sexually harassed a female player.  The player was banned, and then another character named Shalmanaser appeared.  So you can understand why GMs would react to the name "Eccutas" with suspicion.
