I don't know what the point of that post was? Is there something wrong with the Guardian? Or are you refering to something other than the newspaper?

I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

I trust in the credibility of The Sun, I do not go much into other news publications.

Is the Sun you have the same as the one we have in Ireland? Its terrible. Taking aside its previous political views, The Irish Times is the best paper going. Tabloids don't even exist as far as I'm concerned save as a nice thing to ridicule.

I should've given a hint about my comment about The Sun  :whistling:

Nah, even those "conspiracy theories" prints are better than "The Sun" :P

In addition, the Gruniad (AKA The guardian) is well know for its poor editorship and its poor spelling (hence the name it is given, and the fact im thoughroughly impressed by the fact it was repeatedly mispelled :D). The Sun is the paper for the dregs of society, the kind of person who picks up the paper and reads it from back to front (I hate these foul and stupid people (no offence intended if any of you are this foul and stupid. :P))

Newspapers, or more correctly, Viewspapers suck in general.

Reading a paper back to front make someone foul and stupid? Viewspapers? Man, I though I was a misanthrope.

I dont dislike people, just people who read the Sun from the back forwards :P

It isnt my fault they are foul and stupid, its not even the Suns fault, its just a single identifying factor of foulness and stupidity.

I like the (Ottawa) Sun but perhaps it is a little bit less trashy this side of the pond. It is a little right wing and has the tabloid format but it kills less trees than the broadsheet papers. I find that 90% of what goes in newspapers is filler to pad out the advertising if not outright advertorials anyway. I could read my favorite columnist on-line but I prefer to read things on paper.

In the Sun and the Mirror(A big favorite here) you get nothing but celebrety scandal and that is apalling. How can these people call themselves journalists?

Just for a refreshment: If you played Deus Ex, you can see some big "honors" to the Sun and tabloids in general:  :whistling:

Quote

Mead from Mars!

CAPE CANAVERAL - NASA scientists confirmed that the eroded remains of the Alba
Patera crater on Mars precisely match the face of President Mead.  "It's him!"
declared Senior Planetary Specialist Kevlar Umla.  "There's his nose, that
ridge, see?  See the crater rim marking his hairline?  The way he combs his
hair appearing in this region of parallel valleys?"

The White House had no comment.  However, Martin Wisdom, president of EA
(Enemies of Aliens), told Midnight Sun: "This is the evidence we have been
looking for, a warning that Mr. Mead is not human.  He is probably a Martian
General, a war hero, come here to conquer the Earth with the assistance of the
United Nations." - Ryan Allan, Staff Writer

Or perhaps the RL Sun is even worser than this... I never readed one, just heard about it.
