[Guild] The Disciples Of Darkness >main thread<

//OOC Introduction
Disciples of Darkness populary called D.O.D was founded in the first quarter of 2006, and broken down July 2006.
This is my attempt to restore this old guild, i know someone has tried to do that some months ago, but now their guild has been renamed to something like: "socii aserbus socii" (be free to correct me if im wrong).

//History
My father have always been against the good of Laanx, therefore Laanx priests decided that the best thing to do, in order to keep peoples faith in Laanx intact was to kill him and his whole family. So I ran away from my old home, ran away from the people who had chosen might over human lives. My parents did not make it, I did but have always regretted the fact that I did not do more to help my parents.

I almost collapsed after having run for almost ten whole ours. The next morning I stood up and realised that I had spend my night sleeping under a three. “Come one Fayed” male voices yelled, at an unknown person. “A female enkidukai, we have not seen many of your kind around here!” the man who they called fayed said while he looked into my eyes. “Maybe I could use her?” said one of the other men. “I don’t think she will be missed by anyone” he said. “We are heading for the city of Nurim” said the other man.

So I decided to follow them on their journey to the city of Nurim. “My name is Ishmael Deverbo” said the other man. I nodded and gave him mine. When we reached Nurim I saw that it was eclipsed by a purple dark cloud. I pointed my finger at it and asked what it was. “You will find out soon enough” he just said and locked me into a tower.

Because of the fact that he had locked my room, I decided to leave the room by climbing down the wall. So when it became night I took a visit into their library. It was enormous! Actually I had never seen a real library before; because of the fact that we simply didn’t have one in our village. Some books seemed to be about the knowledge in the dark arts. Then I noticed a small purple scroll. On the header of the scroll there was written “Ritual of Endless Nights.”

“My love, I do you wrong. When I had to choose between you, or the might I picked the last. I’ve read many books about the ritual, the forbidden “Ritual of Endless Nights” Because this book was too dangerous to be in circulation it only existed at one place, in the old temple of Akkaio.

So I went to Akkaio, the first information I found about the ritual were the 4 needed ingredients:

5 fresh hearths from a warm-blooded creature
1/5 litres of Lemur tears
A half litre of the wizards own blood
20 drops of deep red clacker blood
A safe object to be used as storage for the casters soul

I decided that in order to conquer Laanx’s priests I would have to be more powerful than them. So I decided that this ritual should be the key, although it seemed to be forbidden I still decided to complete it.

A week after she had collected what she needed for the ritual of endless night, she knew it would become full moon at this time of the month. Everything was planned carefully. She lifted the potion up to her mouth. If she drank it, she would die and reincarnate as a Lich. She looked at the liquid deep-red inside of the potion. She drank the potion as fast as she could. The pain was enormous, she dropped the potion and it littered the whole room with glass shards. She could feel that the substance from the potion, burned inside of her.

Suddenly a guard entered her room, and grabbed her violently. “Where are you taking me to?” she asked. The guard simply sent her an ice cold look and then she fainted because of the pain the potion caused while still burning her insides.

“Wake up!” Ishmaels voice shouted. “What have you been doing in our library?” And then she told him the truth, It would just make things worse if she had lied to him. After realising that, he tortured her. She was nearly dead by the end of the day that they had started to torture her, until the pain the potion had caused her suddenly entered a new level. Her body was engulfed by white flames licking her flesh up. The guards that had been torturing her just stared at her while she were in that horrible condition.

She woke up and dragged her blade; suddenly she could feel how powerful she had become in that new condition. She looked at her body, which now only consisted of bare white bones. Then she raised herself up and stood over her blood ridden corpse with her deadly blade in her hand, it was purring with dark power. Through the door barged two additional guards, one tried to cast a pertification spell at Cyasnigyn but the blade she held simply absorbed the spell, it throbbed with power, then Cyasnigyn simply stepped forward two paces and swiftly slashed at the neck of the nearest cleric, she stood as the head slowly slid and fell off his body, the other cleric was petrified, in pure evil and spite she let him go sound the alarm, with one arm and a missing tongue. The sword he held was tainting her more than she already was, the power she enjoyed most, and the ability to kill those who had imprisoned her inside that tower.

As she walked down the spiralling tower guards of all species came to stop her but to no prevail, they all fell before her demonic blade, she was cackling and laughing, this of all the things she was doing scared the guards they could not believe she was enjoI recommend that you read Irick’s history.ying this, and enjoying this she was, To kill those she hated more than anything, she loved it.

(After living 20 years as a Lich, she met an enkidukai named Irick. With his help, she could finally be an ordinary enkidukai again.) This is a long history cutted down to 2 lines, if you want to read the full, I recommend that you read Irick’s history.

//Politics
We are considered as a Dark guild, by other people. Currently we think that there is something wrong inside Hydlaa, we think that the popular good Laanx does not deserve to be worshiped. Laanx has made some wrong choices in his past, he acted wrong by being jaloux at Talad. And when he realized that Talad had actually served Hydlaa very well, he just wanted a part of the glory and made a temple for himself! Our final goal is to get rid of ALL the ones who support Laanx, if it stood to us the Laanx temple would not stand were it stands today!

//Our Rules Inclusive the OOC ones
1.0 Do not dishonour our guild, by asking people for any economical kind of charity.
1.1. Try not to surrender during a (RP) verbal/physical battle with a given person, try finding a different solution for your problem, like yelling for help, or simply by running away from the heat.
1.2. Spread the words about the DoD knowledge is a great weapon!
1.3. Follow the rules that the planeshift team has made for you.
1.4. Obey your superiors (or face the consequenses by not doing so.)
1.5. Dont overdo your evil Rp'ing we dont want to be enemies with everyone.
1.6. Do never interact friendly with a supporter of laanx!
1.7. Take the game seriously, if you wont roleplay, planeshift it certainly NOT the right game for you.

I cant really think of more rules to add right now, but please comment it if i miss something critical.

//Requirements for you who want to join us:

It is a bad idea to godmod the Laanx clergy into doing something, which if it was true, would have anyone of what we would consider to be even slightly liberal attitude side with you. Also you made up a mythical city and made it something that would be a name known to people in remote villages and then made the myth real. Unless this history is in fact itself a myth then you need to do more to fit it in with the settings and not force the clergy into doing extreme things they may or may not do.
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(

A Lich is an undead being of much magical power. Becoming a Lich shouldn't be as simple as drinking a potion. In most games Liches are what remains of powerful wizards that have sacrificed the pleasures of flesh to live accursed throughout eternity and forever tap unto the power of magic and the mysteries of the world.
I'm not sure you can make a zombie become living again, or that a Lich would be as dumb as to cast away an eternal life of knowledge and power to become a regular enkidukai again either.

Being opposed to Laanx, openly, is inviting disgrace. Laanx followers have their temple in Laanx, and attempts to shun them publicly would be dealt with by Hydlaa's Guard in a certainly cruel manner. This being the case, we should see some rules about staying clear from the Guards, or using hooded cloaks when mugging the faithful of Laanx.

I don't understand your Guild's structure as well. If your objective is to disrupt the life of Laanx followers actively (as in with violence), I would have assumed a more outlaw approach to hierarchy where you'd have a recruit rank, a thug rank, a gang leader rank and a head leader rank, to allow for members to easily know how to gather and wander around seeking to bash Laanx's followers.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion and I can be reasoned with. I'm probably right, though.

Join the Dark Empire!

Actually she sacrificed all her physical feelings, so she made some kind of sacrifice. The story about why she returned to normal state, is very long and complicated (since it happened In-game for a long time ago, and i don't remember the exact process.) But i can tell you that she returned to normal because that she was in love with another enki.

Planeshift is still, relatively small, so in order to write come up with a history i "invented" a new city. The things that happened in that city, could'nt have taken place in either Hydlaa, or Ojaveda so i saw it as the only walkaround. (Of course it is not that hard to rewrite the story, again, to make it fit better with the settings. But i think, that if i made it fit purely into Hydlaa the story would be too hard to understand, and it would also become even more unreal.

First off, you should not double post. Secondly making a city mythical is my problem. You are adding to what people should know as household things. You could name a city random city then when you find out a name of an actual city change it to that.

So you suggest that i change all the instances of "Nurim" to simply "Random City"? But wouldn't that make the history confusing, and easy to misunderstand?

No, keep the name but don't give so much space to describing something that most likely won't exist and definatly won't be embraced as household legend and lore.

Not a problem. I'm just glad you took it okay. I've seen this sort of thing get very ugly.
