I have to say that I am very impressed with your Planeshift game. Very well done, my friends!  My employees / members, who work alongside me, have heard me talk about it and have asked me how they could play it, too. So I said, "Just download it, it's free." They say, "Free!? You must be joking!" I say, "Nope, absolutely free. But, don't download it now, because there will be a new version soon, and you'll be wasting your bandwidth downloading it twice. They say that the new release will be in about a week"...Well...Guess not.

See, I'm worried that I'm going to waste my time downloading the 0.3.018 version and the .019 version coming out right after that, forcing me to re-download Planeshift. And, I do not have very good internet access. (Stupid Satellite... )

So, I ask you, when will the next release (0.3.019) be available to download? I hope sometime soon, my guild is wondering where I am...

We keep hoping we'll have it ready one weekend.. I don't think we can give any guarantees. Some issues keep popping up, and while we keep solving them, the going is sometimes slow. So, let's hope either next Saturday or Sunday we will have the .019 client available.

Doesn't matter much for me, because I am a patient man, and I wait forward for version 0.4, because that one surely will bring significant changes, and a week or two more on delay to release a single version will matter very little for the big picture and long-term scenario.
Specially because incremental changes on the form of x.x.xx1 to x.x.xx2, for example, usually are nothing more than some bug fixes and minor additions. And of course, anything beyond 1.0 is either "Service Pack" or "Expansion Pack", whatever sounds more fancy to the marketeers.

hehe one delay would matter little, but ofcourse if it's something that happens with several updates the numbers are going to add up to quite a few weeks. Not to mention that some of the devs are probably getting somewhat annoyed with these things popping up. Nothing more annoying when something doesn't work when it should

Even though I only log into planeshift once I a while now to kick around with some ld huants, I still love  watching the expansion of the game so as ever i will wait dutifully with a dozen other Mac users for the Mac release   Luckily I have many games to keep me occupied.

Woah, better looking gobbles. Not exactly new content, but I always hope a creature update means we'll see more of that creature.

If you look inside npcs.zip in the art directory of your PS install, you'll notice that this gobble skin (and one more) is already there These textures were completed a long time ago, and have simply been waiting to be put to use.
