Raa, the tablet is a very cheap and common one, nothing special: Aiptek Slim Tablet 600U, not even supported by linux at the moment, hence Photoshop and not Gimp;) About the signature you would have to ask Noriin, as was her to create it for me. But I strongly assume it was photoshop to make it.

Marqsaynt, you mention talent.. I recently met a mute dwarf who taught me about talent. Still remaining impressive. If you would.. uhm.. meet him as well I am sure you will know what I mean;)

Big cheers to you guys appreciating my drawings - thanks so much!

I think I have an Aiptek one, but I dunno if it still works. That's a pretty good drawing you made there... Do you know any better tablets?

UtM has a mute character as well named Aeshion. Muteness is not new to PS, but those who RP it well are quite impressive indeed :)

I have to agree with the comments above, I really like your drawing style. The knifes are well detailed especially the hilt and grip.

This is the little mod we have been using since 019, as none of us liked the change made in the dermorian males' appearance.
Not that the devs haven't put a great effort into it, and it's an evidence that it was improved in terms of quality.
However, neither the red hair nor the innocence they seem to radiate were of our taste for I worked out this mod to bring some of their old look back.
The mod has been tested with the .019 and .020 clients without any side effects showing up.

Here it is the readme file where you can see the changes made.

================================================
Dermorian male Mod for PlaneShift

Noriin - October 18, 2007

valkodoom@gmail.com
================================================

Files:
------

dermm_hair.dds
dermm_head.dds
dermm_head_2.dds
dermm_head_3.dds
dermm_head_4.dds
dermm_head_5.dds
dermm_idle.CAF
dermm_idle_var1.CAF
dermm_torso.dds

Changes:
--------

Dermorians have now brown hair.
Removed the idle animation and inserted 019's; no more scratching.
Soft change in the unarmored torso, removed the white bits in the shoulders.
Huge modification of dermorian_head_3.dds to a much sharper look; added scars; pale skin.
Slight modifications to dermorian_head.dds and dermorian_head_2/4/5.dds to decrease the childish look.

How to install:
---------------

- Rename your /PlaneShift Crystal Blue/art/characters.zip for the sake of security: keep the backup.
- Unzip the Mod.
- Create a temporary folder (name it "characters" for an easier approach) and Unzip the /PlaneShift Crystal Blue/art/characters.zip file inside.
- Place the Mod's files in the /*yourtemporaryfolder*/dermm folder, overwriting the existing ones.
- Zip the temporary folder and name the file "characters.zip"
- Place the new zip in /PlaneShift Crystal Blue/art
- Enjoy

Tips:
-----

To change only the animation:
Replace only dermm_idle.CAF and dermm_idle_var1.CAF. I can't tell which of both is doing the job so far, feel free to e-mail me for I can correct this file.

To change only the faces' skins:
Replace only these files: dermm_head.dds, dermm_head_2.dds, dermm_head_3.dds, dermm_head_4.dds, dermm_head_5.dds

To change only the hair:
Replace only this file: dermm_hair.dds

And HERE is a picture of the mod (using dermm_head_3.dds) ingame.

The mod can be downloaded HERE.

I'll ask Rooker to send the Shadow Force after you. Mwuahahahaha.

Really nice Velh, keep going at it. Have you seen the Fan-Fanart Project Thread? *wink* *wink*
