Gentoo Linux Seg Fault
« on: June 10, 2007, 12:42:45 pm »
I am able to run the installer with no problems, but when I run the client or setup or any of the executables I get a Segmentation fault. Running the binary not compiled source.

SOFTWARE
Gentoo 2007.0

Xorg server: 1.3.0
Xorg: 7.2
Gnome: 2.6.13
Nvidia Drivers: 1.0.9755-r1

HARDWARE - Asus G1
Core2Dup T7200 2Ghz
2G ram
Nvidia GeForce Go 7700

I'm not familiar with CVS as most projects have deprecated it in favor of subversion but if someone will provide details on getting the CVS source I will be happy to try a build and perhaps make an ebuild for other Gentoo users to use portage to install.

Can you paste the output of your console (from when you run the client to the segfault)? Also your emerge --info?
