What PlaneShift needs more is not something to attract new players, is something to keep the old ones interested. Publicity and graphics might draw a crowd, but only gameplay, roleplay and a good community can keep them.
Of course I agree with that, what I disagree is you downplaying something potentially good. There's no need to have a overly positive attitude towards it, but having a "whatever, that's not that good" attitude doesn't help anything either, specially when, I think, the devs already got the idea that they need to expand "activities" (in lack of a better word) in order to maintain players. They're adding quests, areas, glyphs, crafting (not saying all these will come with the next release, just what we can expect and what we've seen in the last months), doesn't that prove anything? They just work relatively slow (at least they're not abandoning it), give it time.
* Bartholin Demands a wipe of the accounts!
Oh.. yes. Give us the wipe and return to the MB migration, that'd be nice.
But, anyway, I'm glad to hear. I've seen some pleasant additions to the the crafting system - that's mostly what I care for, so I'm already filled with "positivism".
