No Fighting?

I was in the sewers in Hydlaa earlier today, and I attempted to fight a rat. Unfortunatley, a red message appeared on my screen reading  "Rat is impervious to attack". Also, my friend (Rakorian) had the same occurance while trying to fight gladiators nearby. Atlhough I was overjoyed to find a good number of rats inhabiting the sewers, I was still thoroughly disappointed.   I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem.

That's a well-known issue. When you get that message, it means that the server controlling the NPCs is currently down. It usually only takes a couple of minutes to restart...

Please try to do a search on the forums before you post next time, as this questions crops up again and again. Also, please read the documentation, as this issue is clearly mentioned in the FAQ on the main site.
