Relight problem
« on: June 25, 2007, 02:31:38 pm »
Hello Everyone:

I understand how to make a simple box map, and create one object into the map.
I have to type command "--relight" to relight the map when i run psclient.exe (psclient.exe --relight)
However, if the map contain many object, and run the command "--relight", the loading map process will very take times.
If i do not use --relight the map will become all black.

How can i make the map alway light?
Because when the game PlaneShift change the map, the loading map process is really fast no matter how lage of the map.

Yes, the relight process can take a very long time. If it takes too much time for you perhaps you can try --fullbright.
Good luck!

Thank You so much  :)

Sorry Three more question
How can you know the command --fullbright?
Where can i find that information?

In the game PlaneShift, just run the command "psclient.exe" all the map is light, but we have to use --relight or other command to make the map light. How can they make the map already relight? Is that something we can set in the blender?

1 You're not really supposed to know.
2 The map is pre-lighted. Sometimes that doesn't work and you have to relight it yourself again.
