Mouse vs ADWS Keystrokes
« on: June 27, 2007, 01:58:00 pm »
Hello

I have tried searching, but failed to find what I need, and need some help.

I like the smoothness (infinite increments of change) of changing direction with the mouse, but in 3rd person
(and the others) view, the camera angle can go too high, too low, etc, and it's a struggle to get back to faceing
towards your enemy (or whatever)

That doesn't happen when you move via the ADWS keyboard strokes, but the change of direction is aburpt and
too large in many situations.

Is there a way to get best of both worlds, movement via the mouse, but disable change of up/down camera angle
via the mouse? It would help a great deal. I tried mapping the ADWS keystrokes to a joystick, that works fine excetpt
you still have abrupt change of direction.

                                                    Thank You very much

You can decrease the sensibility of the mouse for the cam movements, in the options. Maybe it can help.

You could also increase the key sensitivity and repeat rate although I do not believe that is built into the game and would have to be done in your OS.

BTW page up and down tilts your camera up or down in case you hadn't noticed, also I find the arrow keys easier to use for movement that the letters. Then again I don't strafe much or do other fancy maneuvers.
