automatically dropped items... stupid.

Please, even if you fel touched by this post, please read it all to its end.

So i had a client crash and a lot of items in inventory, you know already what the stupid client did?
It dropped 3 iron stock, 31 gold ore and a glyph sack with some basic glyphs and a lot of unique items i gathered over the time i played this game. Items i probably never get back again. All gone.

Why it dropped the damn sack? i have no idea. It was in the last slot in the inventory, yet got dropped, just like the stupid client system went this way:
Damn! he cant wear that much somehow! :
 - glyph sack threw away!
Holy Crap! there are still to many heavy items!:
 - lets throw away these 4 iron stocks!
No Way, I'm so stupid client!
 - I'm sure Nikodemus wont need these 31 gold ore

Of course before i fully log in, the items were in front of Ojaveda gate and noone took the iron stocks because its complete crap, noone took the 31 golden ore because it was too heavy... But the little glyph sack looked so nice that of course some thief had to steal it from me..


I was sayoing numerous times. Why did you code the game to drop items you cant wear, because they are too heavy?? Especially if there are bugs like these.
 Make us unable to move if we wear more than we can carry! So if there is even milisecond the server or something thinks you wear too much, you won't loose your stuff forever! You just won't be allowed to move!
and make it impossible to wear like over 1000 kg, so people wont take furnances or something.

I'm sorry if i'm ranting, but i'm really upset and I had to write it this way. Really, please, work on this issue. I blame noone, but this game players who love it need this fix!

 Yup, this happens, mostly due to STR enhancing weapons. You start the server and it loads your characters' stats, then puts all the items, realizes you're too heavy, drops things, and then sees you have a STR enhancing weapon, after you dropped enough items (in an ascending fashion, from bottom up), that you *do* have the STR bonus. That is my experience anyway.

 I agree. Result shouldn't be dropping things randomly, mostly because you might be in middle Hydlaa filled with newbies (or less just people) that will gladly help you carry your "overweight" and not return it. I quite agree with the inability to move, at least that would enable you to, in extreme cases, chose what you want to drop.

Oh yeah, its exactly what happened, but i was wrongly informed that items which are at the top are dropped first.

Encumbrance was put into the game before you made this compliant thread.  :)
