Problem with quest 'Taulim Wilaal pulls a prank...'

well...
the quest is about bringing a fake sword from the arena master Gregori to the guard Taulim
When i told Gregori i need such a sword, he answered that i should give 50 trias to him for it...but he refused to accept my money!
I have tried giving a octa (or whichever corn that worths 50 trias).  Even really '50' trias (yes, 1 by 1) didn't work

PS: By the way, i could not discard quests. They just won't go away even if i click yes

make sure he does not want you to confirm that you will give the tria with a "yes"

I am also experiencing this same problem, and i have tried saying 'yes' after he asks. have also tried actually giving him 50 trias, rather than 1 octa..  Nothing works. Please help

There is a solution and I know what the problem is. The trouble is with what you are saying to the npc before he asks for the tria, you are actually supposed to say something much simpler, if you don't he will still respond but won't accept the tria...say something simpler, look at the quest hints and tips if necessary.
  This wasn't the most crystal clear advice from my part but I'm not going to post a spoiler

Dude, 90% of the people who have done this quest have already failed to get it working, no matter what they managed to think of typing in (including me). No stupid riddles please. Post the damned response so we can finish the half-broken quest.

Dude, 90% of all percents are made up by people that don't have a clue what they are talking about and just make up a random number and try to pass it off as statistical data.

Every other MMO I know of endorses official quest guides, yet PS thinks it's a "spoiler" when someone helps others finish a half-broken quest they already know the answer to. PATHETIC!!!

1: This is not 'every other MMO'.

2: Posting quest solutions, (Spoilers), is against the rules of the forum.

3: Actually interaction with players may be the best way to get help on quests in PS, and I feel that's a deliberate decision, to actually introduce an element of RP into the quest structure, after all, in most MMO's quests are just part of the grind.

4: Yes there are still problems with the quest system, however this is being worked on.

Alright, I went back and tried every reply for Gregori that I know of after he asks for the 50 tria. He still won't accept the 50 tria.

Is the quest broken?

there isn't a problem with what you say after he asks for the 50 tria, it's a problem with what you say when you first talk to him, before he asks for the tria... after I got this quest working I found the same reason why I had other bugged quests was because of the same 'glitch'.

I know you're supposed to tell him "NO SPOILERZ FOR YOU", but then when he asks for the 50 tria and give it to him he doesn't accept it.

actually ver, its even simpler than that. i don't know why they chose the trigger they did though. if you want i can pm you the answer or tell you in game
