I have waited, now what?
« on: March 13, 2003, 06:43:43 pm »
I tried waiting for it to start, just like I was told. And it keeps getting hung up on the Initializing World part. And after about two hours of letting it stay on that part, and like I was told to do, it timed out.

Now I would like to know, what are the rest of you that are getting in doing different. I\'m sure it\'s not my computer\'s fault, I just got it in December. It has to be a setting fault.

I dont know if this will help your situation but, have you tried changing the setting using the settings exe? you might want to make the resolution smaller and the colors lower. I hope this help some. I take me only about 4 and one half minutes.

Also did you try using the compatibility mode? That should fix it I would think.

I\'m having the same problem myself.  I\'m using low res and color depth, and I\'ve tried the safe mode version too...
