Can you post your system specs for us? Your processor type and speed, amount of RAM, and graphics card type are the main ones. If you are using Windows, you can find the first two by right-clicking on your "My Computer" icon and choosing "Properties." Your graphics card model and driver version you can see by typing dxdiag into the Windows run command, and looking at the "Display" tab.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Try updating your graphics card driver, as a first solution.

1. Head over to ATI's driver download page
2. Select your operating system, then "Radeon," then "Radeon 9250 series" and hit the Go button
3. Install the drivers, reboot your computer, and run PlaneShift once more

This is a windows version of ps right?
If so try uninstalling ps and reboot your system and then reinstall it
I had a simular issue and when i uninstalled it rebooted it and reinstalled it after driver update everything ran fine
I hope this helps some :)
