RivaTuner has a neat feature called "Launcher". It will set the gamma level, lauch the client for you, and after the client closed, it will reset the gamma level.

ATT can do a similar thing, it even creates desktop shortcuts for you.

So I put a few Gamma presets into the launcher, right-click on a tray icon and select another Gamma level... faster than walking through the control panel tabs.

Launcher entries may launch an application, but don't need to. They can as well only change some GPU settings.

The very latest version of CrystalSpace, 1.2 Release Candidate, has a new lightmapping tool called "Lighter2". Perhaps it will yield better results, but some PS developer would need to look at it.

We have been looking at it - Xordan especially. Eventually we will be able to put it to use.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.
