Death Realm Bug!

I run a macbook, 10.4.9.

When I'm in the deathrealm, all I see is pitch black, with the exception of npcs and myself. PLEASE HELP! :@#\ ???

Check this guide - at the very end is a section for using the -fullbright command that might help you out.

Thank you very much. It worked but now I seem to be stuck there, and cannot move, in a corner, like in the old times when your mother used to send you to stand in the corner. Pictures to follow.
