Client crashes after update

Hi,

I installed the game a few hours ago and there was no problem... until i updated it.

The client crashes right after the charcater page when trying to connect to the server.

  Could not open image file 'tlo-ke_1.dds' on VFS!

  Couldn't load image 'tlo-ke_1.dds', using error texture instead!

looks all normal till it seg faults. can you try to build a client from cvs and see if that works.

Thanks for the help. This game seems to be nice, i'd like to try it a bit more...

How do i build a client and what is cvs ?

Hint: i'm not a geek. :)

Hmm, in this case I don't think compiling cvs is an option :)

Get an IRC client (search for KVIRC or use Konversation, GAIM fi they are already installed on your distro) and then log in to irc.freenode.net. After you're in do a /join #planeshift-build and the people in there might be able to lend a hand as to what is triggering this issue and perhaps solve it.
