A market

 Just an Idea, not sure if its been done before,

But how about a weekly market in  Hydlaa, where crafters could sell their weapons and repairs could be made, people could sell food and drinks, diamonds, mushroom ect. Also this could be a good time for the newspapers to sell their papers or Guilds to make announcments ect

This could be on the weekend, where most of the Players do not have work or education to go to (Sunday perhaps?)

It could be a social event,where Players could meet new people. Which could be organised by the GMs or the players themselves

I once suggested having a marketplace for players to go and sell/buy crafted items. It could be tents or buildings with signs denoting what goods are sold there.

I suggest it be a permanent fixture, so no matter how long a player has been around, it is easy to find.

... If you want to manipulate the economy, stimulate the players' economy by giving them an area to sell their goods. Perhaps opening up some buildings and placing different signs on them designating what is sold there, or have an open market setting in Hydlaa and Oja with tents or booths. This way, even common items can be sold by players instead of NPC's to keep the tria flowing.

I can see a time, in the future, when it could be quite profitable to be a merchant, and the haggling will definitely add a nice RP element to buying and selling.

let me tell you how to do this:

go into the player rp events section

announce your intent

arrange with people a convenient time

get vendors to register

establish some ground rules

have a market day



one day you may have one hardcoded, but for now i think this event would be a great idea.
