Flashing lights. Spells.

(Not sure if this is in the right part of the forum. I think it is).
Basically, i see this spell quite a lot. it is like a checkers/chess board that goes down on a monster but it flashes and it is multiple colours. I asked ingame if it was dangerous to people with epilepsy and I was told that it was a good question and it should be posted here. Now i maybe totally wrong and this could be completely safe. I don't know but i just thought i should raise the issue. Sorry i don't know the name of the spell if you need more details on the spell please ask.

Most likely yes. Every game I ever bought had an epilepsy warning either at beginning or end of the manual and it's clearly stated both games and TV can cause it. But it's something people with epilepsy should consult with their doctors, rather than the developers.

Either way, I think there should be the generic epilepsy warning placed somewhere in here.

The spell you mean is the taste of death spell. As far as I know it depends on the color, the pattern and the frequency and the individual if an epileptic things is triggered or not. But I would appreciate if this spell effect could be tweaked to a less distubing one.

Kind regards

this will be fixed in the next release [the spell that is]. the colored checkerboard is part of CS if you want it changed go to their devs
