I'm totally unsure about the directory it tries to create, but to me this sounds like an issue with your permissions. What OS do you have?

\\o//Hello tigermuller. To find out what Mac you have go top left of screen click on apple, then in list click about this mac.
This will tell you Mac system, at bottom of this box click more info, this will tell you what mac you have.
Now to run permissions, open your hard disk click on Applications, then in that list find Utilities and click it, in there is Disk Utility. open it and click on your Hard disk, then click on verify Disk Permissions, is some come up in box to be fixed click on repair underneath when finished Verifying.
Run your permissions at least once a week. You will be amazed what it can solve.

Tigermuller, are you German?  Just a guess.  :)

Anyway, I think what Durwyn meant is that if you tell us what your native language is, then we can tell you what the menu items or buttons on your computer are saying in that language.  For example, macs using the English language would say "Applications," "Utilities," "Disk Utility," "Verify Disk Permissions," and so on, while macs set for German, Norwegian, or Afrikaans would certainly not say these things, but still do the same things.

Hopefully that helped a little, heh.  :D

Do not update. Period. Please read the stickies guys. Even when the game says, "Updates are available," just ignore it. It will always say that. It's wrong. Until you hear otherwise (look at that Mac Client Status sticky!) don't update.
