All the "the server is down" posts....why??

OK this is getting ridiculous  .. why is it necessary to post about the server being down.. i am surprised i havn't seen about 5 more threads on this particular crash.. i mean every time the server goes down we get 20 people posting about it.. and the SADDEST part of it it isn't NOOBS starting the Threads.. it is experienced players that know it is nothing new for the server to go down for 1~5 days.. 5 being the longer end of things..WHY WHY WHY!!! Are you  posting any new data about the server..NNOOOOOOOOO... it is like people just copy and paste their previous comments from the last time the server was down for more than 10 min.. look there is an easy way to tell when the server is going to be back online.. open you PCclient leave it open.. when the server comes back online.. you will get the thing that said FAILED to change to some #'s.. and when that happens you have about a 50/50 chance of getting online because everyone else is doing the same thing because they have 50gold ingot in a casting and they need to get back there before sticky hands come by .. but back to what this is about before i get side tracked with the prospects of shinny gold ingots..

Look this post is just as much of a waste as all the posts about the server being down I know don point it out.. but maybe this post will get people thinking how ridiculous they look posting nothing of importance about the server being down...and maybe they will stop  .. if you have a question about the server goto the IRC channel FREENODE#PLANESHIFT .. not hard if you dont understand how to use IRC clients dont worry i dont either but i can make do with about 3 min of reading online .. do a frigging google search people.. come on..... thank you

I could delete every post anyone ever made about anything relating to the server if that made you happy.

well it would take much less room on your forum ..less clutter and people wouldnt have to waste time with comments like
1 is the server down
2 when will it be back up
3 why is it down
4 bla bla bla
  you get the point it is a big waste of time i know just like this post but maybe one day people will realize that posting questions about the server is point less.. it is up when it is up .. and not before

there is nothing wrong with people asking questions about the current state of the server, and there is nothing forcing you to read all those threads.

and yes, they do get cleaned up eventually.  its better to be helpful and point them to the right thread as opposed to just deleting all the extra threads outright.

  see these are the things that make me upset we go over 24hours waiting for the game to come back online because were told its "maintenance" then we get back into game & come to find out doesnt appear anythign was done that is really messed up because  i dropped  a heavy anvil  4  or 5 days ago  over by oja & it is still there so it apears that the server was never reset for maintenance

the server doesnt lose any informations of items placed in the world. so if none has picked up your item, then its still there its logic.

a maintenance isnt a wipe!

you also have to realize, that it wasn't PS's doing that cause this past 24 hour downtime!

If you would have read the sticky you would have known that the cause of the downtime was due to the ISP and server provider for our lovely little game.  So it was out of our control this time.
