ok.
this is getting rather irritating..  >:(

everytime I try to create a new macro (shortcut) in the linux version of psclient
(latest update 3 days ago) the client crashes out completely with the result: (core dumped).

particulars of my system:
AMD AM2 Dual Core CPU
Biostar Motherboard
3 GB ddr2 ram
750 GB hd space

OS:
KUbuntu (code named Feisty_fawn) Linux:
kernel: 2.6.20-16-lowlatency #2 SMP PREEMPT Thu Aug 30 23:19:11 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux

psclient installed in personal home dir (not system wide).

*this is reproducable each time I have tried, after restart*

it would be nice to have this working as I don't want to be having to manually
take actions while in the middle of battle!

TMH

*edit*

followup...
ran on a command line (xterm) and got this output:

PSLoader: step 6: success
Did not find config key widget
Widget isn't a pawsConfigKeys
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I tested this problem after a bug report on it... in the .019 binary release it crashes just as you say, but in the latest optimized .019 cvs, it does not crash. This is fixed in the next version. Untill it is released, you can edit your shortcuts by editing the files "data/options/shortcutcommands.xml" and "data/options/controls.xml", just look at your existing shortcuts for examples :)
